The kids and I took a trip to Walmart to pick up a few needed items and the Weinermobile was in the front! We were able to get our pictures in front of it and it's shared on my Facebook page. The kids thought it was funny and Randi wanted hot dogs for lunch. I obliged and since we got a coupon for $2.00 off, we even bought some Oscar Meyer Wiener 100% beef hotdogs! Then we played with our authentic Wiener whistles! I felt like I was back in my childhood years again, it was fabulous!
Then since the kiddos ate so well and were so good we had suckers! As you can tell they really really enjoyed them and made quite a mess of themselves eating them, but that's alright, it makes it even more fun!
Then we put on our boots and went to splash in some magnificent puddles left over from the rain! The kids seriously love puddles and they love to be outside in general. It was so fun to watch their faces light up over and over again as they jumped up and down and ran back and forth. There are some moments as a mother that make all of the "ugh" and "AHHH" moments worth it... those are the moments that I live for and that keep me going as a mother and as a wife and as a human!
After dinner and bath time the twinkies helped me unload the dishwasher... they really are some amazing kiddos when they want to be. Other times they are crazy little stinkers, but I won't share all those moments with you! I like you to think they are perfect angels! haha
Finally after all the hard playing and all of the fun they were put to bed, after about 30 minutes we went to check on them and Ryan had climbed right into bed with his sister... think they are twins? Exact same positioning even when asleep... I love them...
Sorry about the picture being turned sideways, but I can't seem to figure out how to turn it... quite frustrating actually!
I hope that we all have these kind of days full of fun, messes, and great sleep!
