A trip down Memory lane...

The beginning... 38 weeks and 1 day of being deformed and being kicked from the inside... and on Dec. 20, 2008 Randi Lynn entered our world as a 6lbs. 1oz. gorgeous girl and Ryan Lukas was a bit stubborn and 52 minutes after Randi  at 5lbs. 15oz. he entered our world too...

3 months later and our twinkies had wrapped us even further around their fingers. By this time there were still only on formula and nearing the day of trying the rice cereal, which was never a huge hit with these two!

By 6 months they were both crawling around and getting into everything, they were regularly eating their rice cereal and trying multiple veggies at this point. 

9 months and the diva in Randi was evident... Ryan was the comical center of attention type too though... Little did we know these crazy crawlers in just a month would be walking everywhere!

Then we had our Baby Einstein 1 year party celebration and a great party it was! Our twinkies loved the presents, but they mainly were into the wrapping papper, bouncing ball pit, and cake!

16 months came far too quickly and summer was a blast! We were moved into our new home here in NC at this point and the kids were making it their domain very fast! They loved their new rooms and were becoming masters of stairs too!

20 months came after that and our twinkies now were into their toddler beds and talking up a storm... they were becoming even more independent and starting to use utensils on a regular basis without having more than half their food end up on their lap

Now, Dec. 20th 2010 and our babies are no longer babies, they are little people. They have an opinion about what they wear, what they eat, when they go outside and what toy is their favorite. They are weighing close to 30lbs and stand about 35inches tall... (I'll post exact measures after their Dr appointment later today). They love to give hugs and kisses, color, run circles, dance, sing, talk, and are even starting to become familiar with the potty. Where Randi will use the big girl potty once in awhile Ryan doesn't have much interest in it. They are great though at telling me when they are poopy! We are constantly amazed at how smart they are and the new words they learn daily. They finally will count to 5 with us, they know their body parts, they know more animals that I can name right now and much much more... 

Ryan and Randi, mommy and daddy love you so much! We never knew life could be so full of laughter, smiles, and love. There are times we need a break from being a mommy and daddy, but we wouldn't change our life for anything. We hope one day you will be proud of how we raised you and love us for the things we do for you. Happy Birthday baby girl and handsome little man! We promise to always be here for you to turn to. HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY you big TWO year olds!
