Food for Friday, Cream Puff Cake

Some of my friends and I have decided that we would send each other not only Christmas cards, but recipes as well... do a collective recipe exchange for our way of giving. Overall we should get between 20-30 recipes! I got my first card yesterday and am going to be trying my friend's Cream Puff Cake sometime soon, so I'm sharing this recipe with you all, because well it sounds divine for the holidays! I don't normally post recipes that aren't "mine" or that I haven't already tried, but well... I've been busy with work and thought I'd mix things up a bit! Although I did try a new creamy potato, bacon, cheddar soup yesterday that turned out excellent... anyways... on with the recipe!

The Crust Ingredients:
1 C water
1/2 C butter
1 C flour
4 eggs

1. Heat water and butter to rolling boil, remove from heat. Stir in flour quickly until it forms a ball
2. Add eggs all at once, beat with mixer until smooth
3. spray 9x13 pan with nonstick spray, spread mixture on bottom of pan and bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes until a light golden brown

The Filling Ingredients:
4 C milk
3 small packs vanilla pudding
1- 8 oz. softened cream cheese

1. Blend milk and pudding mix together for about 2 minutes
2. Add cream cheese. Mix well and pour into cooled crust

Top with 8 oz of cool whip and drizzle with chocolate syrup for extra visual appeal and chocolate bite! Enjoy!

Sounds yummy to me!
