Food for Christmas! ROAST!

I LOVE roast and have eaten it plenty of times, but I have never cooked it, that is until Christmas... late food for Friday, I know, but well it was Christmas...

ROAST!

beef roast cut
6-8 small potatoes
6 carrots
4-6 stalks of celery
1 med onion
1 can beef broth
5 bay leaves
dashes of the following:
basil
rosemary
garlic
paprika
cayenne pepper

Mix all of the spices together and rub onto beef

Place beef in roasting pan and add cut up veggies
Pour broth over and add additional salt and pepper over it all
Cover and bake in Pre-heated 325 degree oven for 3-4 hours

It turned out great and I am definitely going to be trying it out again sooner rather than later! 

Oh and for all of those that are curious... I put up a Blueberry Cream Pie recipe a month ago and finally tried it out and WOW... amazing!
