Update!

Life is a bit busy right now... stress doesn't even begin to describe how I feel! Carl is getting out of the Army in less than a month... this brings all sorts of new adventures for us... people think it's silly when I say "we are going to be free" but it's the truth, we are able to go further than 200 miles from our house without permission, we will be able to take time off without getting about 20 signatures to approve it, we will be able to say no if they ask us to do something such as be apart and have Carl leave the country for 15 months, we will be able to choose which Dr's and hospitals we go to... Now... with all of this we are also scared of the new beginnings, dealing with outside insurances other than Tricare, dealing with the up and down housing market, dealing with the constant questions of job security (although Carl's options will pretty much all be secure)... anyways, you get the idea...

We have loved our time and experiences in the military and we are grateful for the strength it has given us in our life as a couple and as a family. We know that together we can get through anything. We also know that we can survive anything. We have been well taken care of financially and medically, but we are excited for the new chapter in our life that is about to start. Say a prayer for us if you have time because we will need some extra ones!

On a lighter note here are some moments from our life for the past week or so...

Our twinkies are little models and this particular morning Randi was getting all the attention and it made Ryan sad, so he got in on the photo shoot too.
They are characters and I never thought I'd be the mom to let them wear whatever they want, and I try to be sure they match, but sometimes I choose to not fight them and let them be whatever and whomever they want to be... they are cute no matter what they are in!
We took the kids to the mall for a fun day out and we let them ride the carousel, they loved it, Randi kept saying "up and down, up and down" and Ryan just kept saying "Yee haw" they are funny and I love them. We were especially spoiled because Carl got to come with us due to a day off which does not happen that often.
Ryan got a hair cute... it had been growing for almost 3 months and so as you can see by the piles on the ground there was a lot of hair to be lost! We buzzed about 1.25 inches off. He went to his mirror and touched his head and then said "Where my hair go!?" He looked so confused and it was so funny!
And we have spent a good deal of time working on our house, making it look all pretty... here is one room that we've fixed up!
We have a lot to do still and a lot of decisions to make in the near future, but we will make them and we will get what we need to done and soon we may even be able to travel to see some family... I sure hope so I'm terribly homesick! Life is good, we are all healthy and we are all excited for summer to hit so we can start playing in the water and in the sun more!
