Quick recap... the TWINS TURNED 3! Yep our babies are no longer babies, they are full blown crazy toddlers... okay they have been for awhile now but with their rapid increase in vocabulary and independence we can no longer try to treat them like babies... they are quick to correct us when we do anything wrong or if we say anything naughty or if we call them a baby... Anyways... for their birthday this year we kept is low key... just the family.
First it started off with Disney on Ice tickets! The kids loved it, they both got souvenirs and had nothing but smiles on the whole performance. They sat on the edge of their seats, danced, sang the songs, clapped, made "ooo's" and "awww's" and "uh oh's" It was so fun and so cute. We will definitely be going again in the future!
Then morning of their birthday we had cinnamon apple muffins, which they called cupcakes and made #3 balloons for each of them :)
We opened presents throughout the day and played and spoiled them with goodies and their favorite meals all day and then finished with individual cakes. Ryan's was chocolate and Randi's was vanilla... each picked out their color of frosting and loved their low key and non creative cakes... next year with more time I plan on doing a big party with fun cakes...
The rest of the night they continued to play with other toys and fun presents from the day and continually sang Happy Birthday to themselves.
They are loving growing up and they are loving having the spot light on them and there is way too much to write about them for this post, so update on the twinkies will follow after their 3 year old appointments which is tomorrow!
