We have been working hard to get our neglected grass into a pretty state of green, you see when we first purchased out home it had been vacant for 8 months, then after buying I didn't move in for another 3 months, so for about a full year nothing had been done to the lawn and weeds and ants had overtaken it. I treated it last year, but with me being on my own until Carl came home from deployment, other than mowing and ant treating I didn't do much more. This year we have treated for the weeds and have multiple brown spots because of it, but for some reason the dang dandelions just won't leave our yard alone... gonna have to treat again strictly for them! Well the kids love them and they pick them regularly while playing outside and smell them and bring them to mommy to smell as well... so until we get rid of them I'll enjoy my picked flowers from my babies...

ha ha ha...u can do what people here do for a yard...ROCKS! Seriously, rocks, then they plant a tree or bush in the rocks and call it pretty?! Then you wouldn't have to worry about dead spots.
Although it might hurt to slip n slide on rocks..
