This is my first Mother's Day with Carl home and well, he is amazing! First I slept in and then had anything I wanted for breakfast made for me, I had some hasbrowns, chorizo in eggs topped off with sriracha sauce... can we say fabulous? Well I can! So good... Anyways, then it was a relaxing morning of no chores, getting ready and heading to Raleigh...
So first place up was the Harley Davidson dealership with a Ray Price Museum on the second level. It was awesome. The boys took care of the twinkies and I was able to just sit back and oogle over all the motorcycles that one day I'd like to have... the kids enjoyed it too, it was funny to see them squish their face against the glass wall on the second story looking down at all the Harley's and apparel... they are so stinkin' cute! Next up...
Adventure Landing (http://www.adventurelanding.com/raleigh/)
First up at this place was mini golfing a full 18 holes with the twinkies playing each hole! So glad we did not have people waiting behind us to go or they may have kicked us out of the park! The kids did great and I was actually impressed with Ryan's focus on the sport! Daddy was proud! At hole 13 Randi said "I need to go pee pee" I asked if she could wait and she said yes and didn't say another word until hole 17, then she repeated it again and we sped through 18 and left the men behind to be sure to get to the bathroom on time and we did! No accidents! Go Randi!! I won mini golf (go figure!) then Alan, the Carl.. Carl's foot threw him off balance I think because normally he smokes me! The kiddos, well we lost count, but they finished!
No matter how many times we told Randi this was a zebra, she kept saying "No horse, heeeeeheeee" it was cute, so I let her ride it!
Golfing is hard work, so they took a break!
Then it was arcade time and can I just say we rocked the arcades! The kids liked this one where you put the coin in and it rolled down a track into various trucks and they were good at it! There was a duck game where you punch the duck and they liked that too...
Then we shot water guns to make racecars go up a track and Ryan and Daddy beat us twice! But then we beat some other kid! hehe
Then of course the boys had to get some play time in...
Lots of tickets! Woohoo, these purchased: bouncy balls, tootsie pops, pop up toys, 2 balls, laffy taffy (for the adults) bracelets for Randi and some airplanes... it kept them busy for hours!
Finally... outlet malls! Woohoo! It was warm and we were tired, so we didn't do much shopping, but we did a lot of walking around and looking...
Look ma... no leg! I hate the below picture because my legs missing, but I love it because it's the whole fam damily! Thank you for making my day fabulous! I love you and I love being a mom!
To top off an already fantastic day we got to pick up Matt and Stevie from the airport! And we ate dinner all together at Jack Astors (http://www.jackastors.com/) which was divine!
Happy LATE LATE Mother's Day to all you momma's out there as well as to all the soon to be momma's, grandma's and dad's that are the mom's as well! Go us!
