The sun is shining and our time outside is becoming more and more frequent now that it doesn't take 20 minutes to bundle the twinkies up! It's been so much fun on our days off to spend outside BBQ'ing, playing ball, taking walks, riding bikes, and more... we are all loving the warmer weather that has been gracing us with it's presence and cannot wait for more time off for some beach time!
Smiles are all around this house right now for more reasons than just the great weather... Uncle AJ has moved to NC! It's great to have him here and it really couldn't have came at a better time for us and for him! He has been having a ton of fun watching the kids while Carl and I have been at work and has not only changed his first and 10th poopy diaper, but he has helped with potty training, put the twinkies down for naps, fed them multiple timees and much much more! I'm so proud of him, and we are lucky to have him here to help us... now he has found not one, but two jobs and we will miss him while he works so much.
Some new things with the twins... they have decided they will only play outside if NO dogs are barking and NO cats are in sight (we have a few tomcats running around) silly kids, they are seriously scared of just about every animal they come in contact with.
Ryan loves to clasps his hands together and plead with us "PLEASE" for anything that he wants... followed by big puckering lips and "Thank You's"
Both kids think it is funny to lay down on the couch, cover themselves and pretend to sleep, they say night night, close their eyes (with occasional peeking) and they snore! It's so funny, it always makes us laugh... seriously such silly children!
Okay one not so new here and one new... Ryan's belly is not new... he's always been a chunker! SMALL clothes is new though! Both kids are quickly outgrowing even their 24 month old and 2 T clothes and I'm afraid by the end of summer 3 T's will be making their way into the closet, maybe even 4 T's by Christmas!
Randi has ALWAYS loved dancing, but lately she sings and dances to anything at all... commercials, songs, movies, momma singing, her own singing... anything! It's so funny and she has some pretty great moves! I'm thinking dance classes will definitely be in her future!
As for Carl and I, we are great... Carl works far too much but at least he is home every night and gets to sleep in our own bed. He hurt his ankle back in the fall and after countless Dr's appointments and physical therapy, they have deemed that the only way for his ankle to be 100% better is through surgery... so March 8th will go into surgery and after 8-12 weeks of being down hopefully he will be up and feeling like a new man! I've been working too much for too little, but it's helping to pay the bills so it'll all be okay. I miss being home with my babies and having my house meticulously cleaned, but one day I'll be able to stay home again and just be a momma!
Life is great and I'm getting a bit better about blogging again... it's just so hard to stay on top of work, house chores, kids, husband, myself, and a blog! Life is great though! We have no complaints other than we wish a money tree would sprout outside to make life easier... then again, who doesn't wish for that!?
