Quick post of our day off...

We had another snow storm in NC... this means we had about 4-5 inches of snow come at one time... so Monday the whole town, including my work and Fort Bragg shut down giving Carl and I one more day at home with our twinkies... so we started off that morning with building a pretty sweet fort...
They kids loved it and we played blocks, read books, ate a snack, and had to tell them no when they wanted to take their naps in it, because they would have just played! It was fun and we will definitely have to do this again soon on hopefully another day off!

Later on came nap time... this is one of my favorite moments of the day... Randi has never been a cuddler but she snuggled right up to me and dozed off... it was precious and relaxing!

After nap time came play time in the snow... I will upload photos of that up later on when I get the chance to download them onto the computer... this snow fall was much more light and fluffy and to the kiddos dismay we were unable to make a snow man... but we did manage a few small snowballs and knocked daddy down more than once, as well as mommy a few times :) After a good hour or so and cold noses and cheeks we came inside for a warm bath and snack... the kids love the snow and it is seriously having me consider living somewhere in the mountains... yep... me in the cold snowy mountains... do you believe it!? We shall see... my husbands and children's happiness would make it amazing and I think I'd grow to love it too!
To our happiness and continued weekend there was an ice storm last night that produced a layer of ice on our lawn and about an inch of ice on our cars making all of Fayetteville look like a skating rink or ice cave so... Carl and I both got today off too! So it has been a cleaning house and relaxing day, with a little cooking... Tomorrow is back to work... so I am going to put my lap top down and soak up the last couple hours I have with my hubby cuddling on the couch to a good movie! Night all!
