Food for Friday, Chicken/Sausage/Shrimp Jumbalya


Our Take on Chicken/Sausage/Shrimp Jumbalya




Ingredients
2 thawed chicken breats (diced)
2-3 links of spicey sausage (we use brats or similar) (diced)
1-2 cups pre-cooked and cleaned shrimp
1/2 bell pepper (diced)
1/2 onion (diced)
1-2 jalepeno (diced)
2 Cups rice

butter
cayenne pepper
garlic
salt
pepper


To Make:
Cook rice as directed on whatever kind you are using

In large skillet saute chicken with butter for 5-6 minutes add veggies and some more butter, when veggies are soft add in sausage and add some cayenne and garlic

In a separate skillet, add 2 Tblsp butter and the shrimp, cook up with some cayenne pepper and garlic for 5-6 minutes

In large skillet add rice and shrimp, continue to cook until rice has a browned outer skin and all is cooked through... add salt and pepper to taste or more cayenne if preferred... EAT

So simple and so tasty! Healthy too!
