Food for Friday, MEATBALL STEW

MEATBALL STEW


Ingredients for meat balls

2lbs ground beef or turkey
1C italian bread crumbs (I use croutons)
3 eggs
1/3 C milk
1/4 C grated romano cheese
2 tsp salt
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp black pepper

Mix all the above, roll into 2 inch round balls and fry in 2 Tbls oil until browned

Ingredients for crock pot

2C water
2C beef broth
1 can (14 1/2oz) stewed tomatoes undrained
1 can (12oz) tomato paste
1C chopped onions
1C chopped onions
1/4C chopped celery
1Tbsp italian seasoning

Combine all in crockpot and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours or high for 2 to 4 hours

Enjoy!!! Goes great with some noodles too!
