A Few One Year Photos...

Well as previous posts mentioned, the twins are one, actually they are 13 months now! Anyways, the week they turned one a great friend of mine from high school, who is now a spectacular photographer ( http://www.jennacole.com) ,was in town and asked if I wanted her to take some pictures of the twins, so of course it being right at their One year birthday took her up on the offer. It was great fun and the kids were awesome little models. Randi definitely soaked up the camera time more than Ryan, Ryan just wanted to explore and run around, but Jenna despite being pregnant kept right up with them and got some amazing shots! Here are just a few of them and there are many more to follow :)

We shot the first hour or so in my dad's house which they are currently building, there were plain white walls and unfinished floors, so there was lots of blank canvas for Jenna to shoot against... it worked out pretty perfectly if you ask me!

Then we took the last hour and a half or so and went about 1/2 mile up the road to an old abandoned run down barn/house thing and just let the kids run around and see what they could find... it's shots like the above one that make me appreciate what a great photographer can capture. Not to mention you can't get that shot in a regular studio session! Randi has ice blue eyes! (I'm secretly jealous! :)

Ryan is so photogenic... I think he looks like an angel here...

And what Ryan spent most of the time doing... running around! Great action shot though huh?

And of course Randi and her "I'm so shy" look... which is totally opposite than her normal personality, but oh so cute! I love this jacket as well...

I love our twinkies.... Carl was blown away with the outcome of all the photos and we are so excited to get them up in our new home! We are planning on investing in some gallery wrapped prints to hang on our main wall for the whole world to "Ooooo" and "Awww" over :) Love you kiddos!
