Kid's Day!

Two weekends ago we decided to let the kids dictate our day... and I'm so glad we did! We gave them multiple choices to begin with, they were: Do you want to A. Go Ice Skating, B. Go Roller Skating C. Go Bowling, D. Stay home and do nothing...

Obviously D was out of the running pretty quickly! After going back and forth they decided bowling which was perfect because it was a cold day and I really didn't want to go Ice Skating!

So off to bowling we went, they got to pick out their own outfits and I must say they looked pretty gosh darn cute! I have videos of them bowling which are hilarious, but will have to be posted at a later time. Randi did the classic roll between the legs and Ryan rolled his off to the side and got up to about 4.5 mph! Pretty impressive I thought, Randi had a low speed of 0.82mph! haha it was so funny but still made it to the pins.
Mommy ended up beating daddy and then Ryan and then Randi and since Ryan got the highest score between the two of them he got to pick dessert.

He chose Cupcakes! We went to the local bakery and let them pick out any cupcake they want... Ryan got a s'mores cupcake and then picked a second chocolate cupcake with sprinkles, Randi picked a carrot cake and a red velvet. To complete the choices mommy picked a blueberry cupcake and daddy got a toffee cupcake... they were to die for and worth breaking my 24 days of no sugar!

Things we did at home to top off our awesome kids day: homemade french fries and mini corn dogs for dinner, Twister, Candy Land, and their new favorite Go Fish... then we watched Bug's Life and ate popcorn! Days like this remind me why my family is awesome and why I would do anything in the world for them to be happy. They are my world and we are complete. I hope you all can have a Kid's Day soon!
