Recent Events

My kids like probably everyone else's love the park and we go at least once a week... this day I decided I was going to make them take a few pictures for me because they were just dressed pretty gosh darn cute, and I bribed them with suckers :) They did a great job and I got multiple good shots, but here are just a few for your enjoyment

I didn't even tell them to hold hands here... they just did it and I love it!

Ryan never holds still so this slightly off balanced picture is in between hops between one leg and the next... promptly after this shot he ran for the toys and away from me... little stinker

Randi loves the camera and since I take a ton of photos she is kind of a diva. With her toy camera she'll tell me "momma say cheese" so I say "cheese" and she take the shot, looks at it and will say "nope momma you messed it up, I need to do it again, say cheese" haha... oops I guess she learns that from me

Next up is a family lunch date to Chili's. We haven't eaten out much AT ALL just to save money and due to my fascination with cooking and trying new meals, so this was a treat! We decided to let the kids try our lemons... Randi actually loves lemons and was excited I would let her have it because normally due to the high acidity and potential for harming her enamel on her teeth I say no, but today... I said yes, and it must have been a pretty great lemon!

Hehe... 

Ryan HATES lemons and as you see above he was about ready to cry and promptly got his chocolate milk and cleansed his pallet! 

Finally, each year we buy the kids a new ornament because we want them to be able to have an established ornament collection when they get married one day, about 30 years down the road :) Now previous years we've gotten to pick them out because they were too young, but this year we took them to the Disney store and let them pick out anything they wanted. Ryan of course went for the first Lightening McQueen he saw and wouldn't budge from it afterwards, Randi wanted any and all princess ones... but settled on this princess castle because "all princesses are in it" I thought it was good reasoning!
