Here are a few of the home projects I have done since moving in... more to come :)
Here is our new dining room set and a piano bench cover I made for a softer landing area for the kiddo's heads in case a fall occurs :)

Here is our guest bath which I still need to decide on a wall color for, but for now this is the decor and will be all that is taking up space in here. I love my shower curtain which was a birthday gift when I turned 24 and the wall sconces I got on clearance for $5! I love good deals! I'm thinking a shade of blue if I decide to be creative in here just a cream to keep it neat and re-sale friendly :)

The twinkies are about to move to toddler beds (probably in another 2 months full time) We have been training them just doing nap times in them and then nights we put the 4th side back up. They are doing great and they have not fallen out yet, so I think that they are doing great! This is their new big kid bedding and we love it. It's perfect for the kids and nice and playful but still fits Carl and my personal style. Then there is their play corner, I made the memo board and sanded and painted a garage sale find table and chair set. The table now has some non-symmetrical circles in various sizes. I'm proud of the money I saved and the outcome of the hard work!
The master room is where I have done the most work. I figured that when Carl was home we could do the main rooms and would neglect our room, so that's where I focused... I have repainted every wall and I have spent a lot of time screwing screws and measuring distances and straight lines! I love it, every time I walk into the main room I feel warm and cozy, yet a big luxurious and elegant...
I made this memo board and it is on the right of the room just past the door you walk in at, which is where I am standing to take the above photo... first memo board made and I like it, but the kid's turned out more even... oh well! :)
Mast bath is probably my favorite room in the house right now. It looks clean, simple, yet modern and it definitely reflects us.

Then there is our huge walk in closet... which I have taken about 2/3rds for my own... Carl luckily doesn't mind. As long as he has his electronics he says he doesn't mind if I have my shoes and clothes! :) What a lucky woman I am!
Well there are definitely more projects in the work... but they will come later. I hope you enjoyed getting a glimpse into our new home! We love it and truly are making it ours.
