As previously posted, Carl came home and we got moved into our first home! We love it, it is the perfect layout for us, totally ready to be moved into, but also enough that needs to be done that we can put our own personality and touches into it. We will be totally revamping the kitchen and the bathrooms, then some fresh neutral colors in the living and dining room as well as fresh paint in the guest and babies bedroom and then a bit of funk and fun in our room and we will be set to go :) I have become quite motivated to be a creative house wife and so I have opted to do all of it on our own. We will do all the painting, we have all our appliances and counters picked out (I'm not laying the counters, duh!) but I am making our headboard for our NEW bed, I have picked up sewing and have a custom piano bench cover in the making (it's padded so if they kids run into it no ouchies) I have been making aprons for all the amazing women in my life, and so far I have embellished a few plain shirts and tanks for myself, take a $5 tank and a $2 flower, attach with some string and bam it looks like the ones they sell for $25 at a "stylish" store :) I'm having fun and staying busy with our new home... any ways, now that you are all ready to stop reading from boredom here are a few more pictures :)
Ryan playing ball with daddy, this kid is developing quite the arm! I get worried everytime he starts to wind up as daddy is teaching him to aim at the chest and well... the chest sometimes really means square in the nose!
Daddy reading to Randi before bedtime :) She was so cute, climbing all over him and laughing, he didn't understand what was so funny or why she wouldn't hold still, but he kept reading and soon after she crashed in her crib... I love these moments!
Family picture taken way to late at night by our self timer on our camera... not great, but well... it's us! :)
At the park... Ryan was a wild man, loved the slides and thought it was much more fun to try and run up the slides than to actually slide down them...
Miss Randi kind of just sat around and observed the other children. She is so aware, so much like Carl. I love that about her. She can be so quiet and mysterious at times, then other times just a complete cheeseball. :)
Chilling with dad before bed time, he was so grumpy and wouldn't let me change him into his pj's so he just stayed with Carl until he was relaxed then Carl changed him but definitely was a grumpy boy towards momma... hence the milk face, he wouldn't let me wipe it... he was so tired!
A special moment for us :) We loved when the kids went down for the night and we had a chance to be focused on each other for even a couple minutes before passing out! I truly love this man with ever atom in my body!
Happy girl
Their messy corner :)
I hope you enjoyed, I know there are still not a ton of stories and such, but I have easter hunt pictures to upload and tons more pictures to sort through, my camera died while Carl was home and I couldn't find my packed charger, so most my pictures from while he was home are on my iPhone, so I'll need to download and sort through those as well... life is just crazy busy trying to get all of these boxes unpacked and this house put together. We hope you are all doing amazing and enjoying the warmer weather, we definitely are!! Love you!
