Well the twinkies are definitely spoiled and they ended up having about 5 Easters, this covers 4 of them, the only one missing is the package they received from my mom, and that is because it included their actualy "easter" outfits and I took their 16 month photos in them (even though they are technically 16 months tomorrow) So that will follow...
Miss Randi's Easter basket was covered in this tutu and it is huge on her, so I had to pin it up, but its adorable and she wore it for about 3 days straight... it was fun and cute and I love her little dances she would do in it.
Ryan was not sure as to what to play with first. He was so excited about all the candy, but the little cups he thought were so interesting, he kept taking them apart and putting them back together, it was fabulous and I loved every second of it. He sure is a character
Both of them got coloring books and a movie... they definitely played with them all for quite some time until I was able to put them down for a nap and pick them all up :) Randi's movie is a Strawberry Shortcake dancing movie and she grooved and shimmied and shook through the whole thing, she also loves to spin circles and she gets so dizzy she has to sit down until she gets her balance back then stands up and does it again! I have a ton of videos, but I'll have to upload them later, I'm too tired tonight
Carl found these bean bags for the twinkies for Easter, and I have to say they were and still are a huge hit. They constantly climb on them and snack time before nap time is always on them. It makes for an easy clean up and a great schedule. I just love them! Not to mention the fact that they double as sitting for friends when the twinkies are sleeping :) I'm all about multi purpose items!
We decided to make a cake the night of Easter and both the kiddos helped me out! It was fun, cute, messy, and totally worth it. Randi did the liquid ingredients...
Ryan did the dry ingredients! They were such little helpers!
Ryan even took a go at mixing the ingredients, Randi was a bit scared of the mixer and let momma do that part for her
Us cooks! We did a pretty great job I have to say!
The finished product...
Enjoying our hard work. Randi is such a little girl, she is very dainty for the most part when she eats, she doesn't make a huge mess or her food until she is done eating it... now below is her crazy brother
Ryan tears into anything and everything and is not scared of smearing it all over his face, hair, and the walls! I love it though, he genuinely enjoys his food and well he is quite the healthy boy to prove it :)
This was an easter basket from Aunt Stef, Uncle Mikey, Bella and Abi and it was wonderful! They both loved everything in it, especially the ball, which is exactly what Ryan is saying here in this picture, he had just pulled it out, held it up like a prize and said very loudly "BALL" then 2 seconds later it was being chucked across the floor and he was right behind it chasing it :) Love this little guy and his totally "Boy" attitude.
And Miss Randi, enjoying her girly basket, she adored the new butterfly inspired hair bows along with the others, loves chocolate (almost as much as her mommy) and as you can see instantly had to wear all of the bracelets. To this day she still carries her bracelets around and loves to try and wear them on her feet, she thinks she is starting a new fashion statement I think. She also loves carrying around her little sparkly basket... such a GIRL!
Then our new friends Jenna and Justin threw them an Easter Egg hunt of their very own...
They were so good and ran around like pro's, they found all the eggs and made out with some awesome prizes, including $3.00 of quarters, sweethearts, tootsie rolls, suckers, and they also made them baskets! Ryan and Randi got new chalk, bubbles, more candy, coloring books and crayons of their very own and more! Jenna and Justin definitely spoiled them.
Finally I had to include pictures of the kiddos giving their Daddy poster kisses... so precious
When I see these it breaks my heart and fills it all at the same time. I love that the kids were able to spend enough time with Carl to know him and to recognize him. It makes me 10 times more excited to have them be reunited in just a couple months now... June could not come any faster!
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed their Easter as much as they did and as much as I did and I hope you check back in the next couple days for more pictures of their adorable Easter outfits and 16 month pictures and updates! Love my family and new home!
