In our dining room we have a large wall that is bare, and since we don't own a dining room set we will be using it as our play area for the kids, and I need something of interest on the wall, so inspired by a friend of mine, this is what I am thinking to do on the wall... instead of random pictures though I will do black and white or sepia photos of our family... what do you think?
Our master bedroom has a long wall with two floor length windows that have these drapes in the cool black....
and above our bed I am thinking something like this art piece

Finally through my brain tonight is a reading corner for the kids... they have a great floor to ceiling window in their room and I have a book shelf that will fit perfectly by it, then I am thinking of buying these pillow seat things for them... don't they look comfy!!?
That way the kids can move them about the house with ease, have their own, and lay or sit on them... anyways... maybe I'll try to get some sleep now... Night!!

These are great ideas! I love the collection of pictures--I try to do this in every place we move but it never turns out looking as good as I want it. Good luck! Looks great!
love the wall arrangement. only don't hang the pictures too low, cause your kiddos will have way too much fun with the low ones.
