Dad has been working really hard with Jeanna and others to build from the ground up with their own hands their new dream home. It has had it's delays but they are officially in and it is beautiful! We had a family dinner there for the first time quite awhile ago now and here are a few of my favorites from the night...
Playing Candy Land with Addi, Alan, Dad and Randi... dad definitely had to help Randi and really all she did was try and eat the pieces :) In the background you can see their beautiful kitchen cabinets and stainless steel appliances... seriously there are more cabinets and drawers than I would know what to do with!
Dad and Jeanna let Ryan let out his inner drummer by giving him two spoons, nothing and no one was safe that was within reach of his two little arms! He loved it!
Kira and Dayrk were able to come up for the dinner and it was great, I always love being able to have a yummy dinner and relaxing night with my sister and best friend! Do we look alike?
While the rest of us played cards and shared a few laughs, dad aka grandpa wore out the kids and put them to sleep... seriously Addi is the only one awake here and that didn't last very long! It was fun to see them all run around and have some freedom!
The kodak moment of the night was Addi randomly sneaking up on her Uncle AJ with a wet finger ready to meet his ear! Lets just say she got in more than one "wet willy" this night! haha.... oh I love this little girl! She is such a character, and Alan is such a good uncle, he just tackled her and tickled her for punishment! You can imagine how horrible that was for her!
I am so glad the hardest part of building is over and now the fun part of decorating and landscaping begins. Congrats dad and Jeanna for building your dream home. I pray you will spend many many years there together and that we will have multiple family dinners in the years to come! Love you all!
