Food for Friday... Hasselback Potatoes

Thank you Pinterest for directing me in the path of this recipe, as always just a few changes to make it more unique... I have more ideas for the next time too!

Ingredients

3-5 Potatoes
2 - 3 Cloves Garlic, thinly sliced or minced if desired
1 jalapeno minced
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
Butter
Sea Salt
Black Pepper

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425˚F

Put the potato on a cutting surface, flat side down. cut almost all the way through (should be cut enough to wear the potatoes slightly fan out)

Arrange the potatoes on baking tray and insert the garlic and jalapenos in between random slits. Put some butter on top of each potato. Then drizzle the olive oil and sprinkle some sea salt and pepper.

Bake the potatoes for about 40 minutes (if small) or 60 minutes (if large russet) or until the potatoes turn crispy and the flesh is soft.

So delicious!
